My work addresses the transformative process that occurs in summoning memory.

Between reality and memory is a slender space that is the truth. In his novel, Midnight’s Children, Salman Rushdie calls this space, “Memory’s the end it creates its own reality.” To explore this space, this reality, I use a simultaneous media approach in whch I discover and experience images with digital capture, editing, drawing, painting, intuiting; all coming to a meeting place within PhotoShop. The work is given its presentational form as an archival digital print, some of the prints are “unique” having additional handwork applied.

The etheral light which emanates from deep within the works serves to give the viewer time for reflection or meditation; an opportunity to experience their own memories.
